Mind you i paid the least amount of attention on nails in beauty school. I was so confident that I would never ever be doing nails. Luckily my mom & I are my only clients.

I used to go to the nail shop 2ce a month/every 2 weeks, sometimes more if a nail broke or rhinestones snapped off within 3 days or so. By the time I quit nail shops, i was paying 200~260 every two weeks now was that the problem? No but to PAY THAT MUCH and be treated like nothing every single time I would return?!?!!😡🤯😤🔥 stupid ass hoes fr. & i tip & im kind i mean do i love long nails yes but im simple ! Im cool! Im kind & respectful theres no need for every time i come back im treated like a stranger. Yall they were suppose to be on the more upscale side of town, no shade but i didnt notice any black nail techs, and they were just the ghettoist spot !

Matter fact let me tell you about the first day i went now ive heard SUCH GREAT THINGS & SEEN WITH MY OWN 2 EYES the work that comes from that shop it seemed they hired nothing but the best. Okay so eventually i made my way there bc my standards and budget for nails grew over the years 🥳🥰 so boom i pull up its jumping im feeling like im about to walk into the club so im hype music blasting already im like okay Cordova so i go in with clear clean hands the receptionist sees me … i had to sign in & wait but no problem bc for my beauty i dont mind 💯 so a guy comes in, bouncing around looking like a sexy evil hood Aladdin, but idk maybe this is what they do here? Girls were giggling but I was real deal annoyed bc not even in the hood are they acting like this outside the nail shop. I think he popped in &

Out a couple times to flirt w his gf who was a nail tech… but okay as long as it doesn’t effect service.

Mind you the nail shop was in a shopping center next thing I know, i see all the ladies jump up and run to the window: why evil Aladdin done knocked out the sénior business owner next door all because he told Aladdin to please lower his music as his customers were disturbed(i mean it was Cordova. Hood Cordova but Cordova nonetheless). Yesssss knocked him out!!!! The nail tech gf ended up leaving im like MEN ARE SO FCKN EMBARRASSING ! Why would he do that! I should’ve fckn LEFT but no i returned for months until right after the pandemic allowed us back outside a little bit. I was otw there, & i thought about the money i was about to spend MIND YOU the girls were NOT getting makeup bc we were wearing masks so my money was quite measured lol. So im driving there calculating my hair nails all that, i park in the parking lot of nail salon & I said you know what im not going in there to that fuck ass condescending receptionist & nail techs rolling their eyes bc i want long nails… AND possibly being injured during service ! I jumped on amazon & spent my nail fund on nail supplies . Its been 6 years & my retention has gone from 1 day to 3 weeks. Gel-X
